Beach Resort We love this property and have enjoyed visiting here many times, dating back to its days as a Radisson. A few years ago (and again after Hurricane Ivan), the property underwent an extensive renovation and it's better than ever. Located two miles from George Town and about
four miles from the airport, this convenient property is set on a beautiful
stretch of Seven Mile Beach. Facilities include casual and fine dining,
pool and hot tub, dive shop, wave runners, windsurfing, shopping arcade,
and full-service spa. We've snorkeled in the calm waters just offshore
and enjoyed a small coral reef; you can also learn scuba diving or book
dive trips through the on-site shop. The Marriott is known for its guest rooms,
the largest on the island. In Summer 2005, the resort added four Presidential
suites, too, and also offers 20 junior suites. Oceanfront rooms include
private balconies with good beach views and are worth the somewhat long
walk to the elevators in this 307-room hotel. Location: Seven
