This 21-unit condominium resort on Seven Mile Beach underwent an extensive
renovation a few years ago. Honeymooners, divers, golfers, families and
couples are target markets for this property with one- and two-bedroom
oceanfront units. Each unit has a view of the sea and all are fully equipped.
Guest facilities include a freshwater pool, tennis, and Jacuzzi. Unlike
most condominium properties on Grand Cayman, Aqua Bay Club (formerly Grand
Bay Club) offers guests the option of packages. "At present it is
the only property offering honeymoon, golf, dive and escape packages.
Future plans include a dine around package as well as an air-inclusive
package," notes Walter Puk.

Located four miles from George Town, this deluxe property includes televisions,

both just steps off Seven Mile Beach, as well as a fitness center if you
don't feel like a beach jog. And for your rental car, there are even private
garages, perfect for keeping the car cool for an afternoon jaunt into
George Town.
The guest facilities are bright and cheery,
with plenty of white tile, tropical pastels, and light toned woods. Units
are spread across three floors but there's no concern about hoisting groceries
and luggage to the upper units; there are elevators for the top two floors.
All the rooms have screened lanais, perfect for siting with an evening
drink and watching the sunset.

beneath willowy casuarina trees. The complex includes several size units:
two bedroom/two bath with a screen patio and ocean or pool views, two

bath with a den and screened porch units. All condos include air-conditioning,
telephone, television, VCR, kitchen, laundry service, maid service, and
use of pool. There's also great snorkeling right off the beach here or

a hotel, the Britannia Villas might just be for you. These elegant villas
lie beyond the Hyatt Regency guest rooms adjacent to the Britannia golf
course (across the road from the beach but connected with a covered walkway
above the traffic). The Britannia Villas are especially popular with families
and include all the hotel amenities including pools, restaurants, beach
bar, spa, fitness center, children's club, and more.

top restaurants.

Located on the south end of Seven Mile Beach, the resort offers 27 oceanfront
3-bedroom villas. Along with the beach, amenities include a sculptured
free-form Oceanic pool, Jacuzzi and a fully-equipped fitness center. We
especially liked the fact that each villa offers a private, screened patio
with room for outdoor dining; villas are each equipped with full kitchens,
washer/dryer, central air conditioning, a VCR, two color televisions and
telephones.

This condominium property is especially popular with golfers. Located
just steps from the SafeHaven golf course, the property is a drive from
Seven Mile Beach. It is located on the North Sound, although there is
a shuttle service to Seven Mile Beach. The resort offers 44 flexivillas
in a variety of sizes as well as four grand villas and six townhouses.
Each includes a full kitchen, living room, and dining room; full maid
service and room service are available. The resort includes a swimming
pool, children's pool, waterfront restaurant, on-site scuba diving, snorkeling,
deep-sea fishing, wave runners, windsurfing, a private dock for boating
and fishing, and concierge services.

Located on the southern end of Seven Mile Beach, this 54-unit condo offers
two bedroom, two bath units. The red-roofed buildings, each three stories
tall, overlook the water and manicured grounds. The guest units each include

a balcony or patio, and a cool Caribbean decor. Guests have use of a freshwater
swimming pool and barbecue grill.

This 69-unit complex is one of Cayman's newest. Located right on the beach,
the complex has 63 two-bedroom units and six three-bedroom units, all
with air-conditioning, cable TV, full kitchen, screened patio. Guests
find plenty of activity here: two tennis courts (including one lit for
night owls), fitness room, and a large pool with Jacuzzi. Maid service
is offered every day except Sundays. The complex also offers weddings
on property.

Twenty one or two bedrooms make up this "home away from home"
complex located right on the beach. Guests have use of tennis facilities
and can snorkel right offshore. This complex is a favorite with families
who find not only a kid-friendly atmosphere at the property but also many
nice features in the apartments including private patios or balconies,
a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave oven, a sleeper sofa, cable
TV, and even beach towels and beach chairs. Rooms are bright and sunny,
with white tile floors and pastel prints.

in Spanish-inspired buildings Conveniently located across from the Hyatt,
this condominium property is relaxed and family-friendly. Guests find

with kids, a caged iguana that can be fed.

nap, an evening cocktail, or a midnight chat. Each unit comes with air-conditioning

Targeting families as well as couples and singles, the condominium complex
is right on the beach. All units include a full kitchen, air conditioning,

three bedroom units have two. Guests have use of a game room, beach, and
freshwater pool.

This condominium property is far more like a resort than many other condominium
complexes on the island, with restaurants, shopping, and plenty of activities.
Located at the beginning of Seven Mile Beach, this 280-room resort includes
an offshore snorkel trail. Now starting to look a little tired around
the edges, the hotel nonetheless has a pretty pool area with waterfall
cascading down from the third floor restaurant.
Facilities include two freshwater pools, two
whirlpools, tennis, dive operation, shopping, informal dining, bar, and
lounge.

This is a popular 74-unit complex is in walking distance of many of the
conveniences of Seven Mile Beach, including the grocery store. It offers
