The Brac, Cayman Brac The most recognized site on the island is the Brac, the sheer bluff that is visited by hikers and non-hikers alike. To reach the bluff, follow the gravel road north off Ashton Reid Road, the island crossroad. The gravel road runs six miles to a lighthouse. This area is a favorite with birdwatchers. Here, the 180-acre Parrot Reserve is home to endangered Cayman Brac parrots. Only 400 of the birds remain in the wild on this island.
